Who publishes this guide
This site is a community guide published by Gold Peach Realty, a real estate brokerage that works across North Georgia. We make it because people planning a festival weekend in Ellijay deserve one place with clear, dated answers: when the festival is, what it costs, where to park, which vendors come which weekend, what to eat, and what else is open in apple country while they are here.
We are not the Georgia Apple Festival, the Ellijay Lions Club, the Gilmer County Chamber of Commerce, the City of Ellijay or any vendor or orchard we write about. The organizers run the festival and set its dates, prices and rules, and every page links to them. The festival’s own site is georgiaapplefestival.org.
How we check facts
- Every date, price, rule and number links to the organization that published it, with the date we last checked it.
- When the organizer has not announced the next festival’s dates, we say so. Dates worked out from the organizer’s own published pattern are labelled as expected, never as confirmed.
- The vendor finder and food list use the organizer’s own 2026 vendor list. The shopping categories are ours, assigned from each vendor’s own description, and are labelled that way.
- Drive times are computed routes on OpenStreetMap data with no traffic. Lot-to-gate distances are straight-line estimates. Both are labelled.
- We do not publish invented prices, crowd counts, ratings or reviews. If we cannot source something, it is not on the page.
- Photographs are real and credited, with their licences, on the photo and film credits page. The home page film is cut from those photographs; nothing in it is generated. Photos taken somewhere other than Ellijay say so in their captions.
How we use AI
AI tools help us draft; people check every fact before it publishes. Articles are bylined to the Ellijay Apple Festival Guide Editorial Team, the people who check them, rather than to an invented author.
Advertising, sponsorship and listings
Gold Peach Realty’s own listings appear on this guide, clearly labelled, and the brokerage’s contact details are on every page. We do not sell rankings or reviews, and no vendor or orchard pays to appear. Any future local sponsorship will be labelled as sponsored where it appears. To ask about it, use the contact form.
Corrections
If a festival date, parking detail or vendor listing here is out of date, tell us through the contact form or at info@goldpeachrealty.com. We will check it against the organizer’s own page, fix ours and update its checked date.
